parables for a new generation
This series asks questions about protection, accumulation, and the search for something sacred within of a world of mass-produced objects and symptomatic depersonalization. The images are my resistance to a Styrofoam society, one built on military protection, technological competition, and the race for material wealth. My hope is that an emerging social structure will arrive in the form of a more balanced community, one that prioritizes contributions over acquisitions and participation over victory. This series hopes to redefine the future by rewriting our history as one that discourages, and even penalizes, selfish success.
